The problem
A recorded track can’t say your goal in your words. It talks to everyone, so it never really talks to you.
What I built
A short conversation captures what you want to change, what gets in the way, and how you put it yourself. LuminVoice writes a session around those words and voices it, for the evening, a nap or the morning. It is made for calm and self-improvement, and it points people towards professional help when a request needs more than an app.
What made it hard
- A guided conversation that finds the listener’s own phrasing in a handful of turns.
- Personal audio at a price that works, by reusing the parts that are the same for everyone.
- A safety check that declines requests an app shouldn’t handle.
- A native iPhone app alongside the web app.
