The problem
Authors stitch together a link page, book links, an email list and a shop, and update all of it by hand every time a new book comes out.
What I built
BookBio reads the author’s books from Amazon and builds the page automatically: covers, descriptions and buy links, kept in sync. Authors pick a theme that suits their genre, add sections, collect newsletter signups, and can run the page on their own domain.
BookBio sits next to CreateBooksAI: one helps authors make the book, the other gives it a home.
What made it hard
- A complete author page generated from one link, and kept up to date.
- Many authors served from one platform, each on their own address or domain.
- A live editor with genre themes and sections that stack.
